Heritage and History

Pincon Spirit Limited started its journey in the year of 1978 in the name and style of Sarang Viniyog Limited and subsequently its name was changed to Pincon Spirit Limited in in FY 2010-11 for better corporate identity.

With initial business footprint in West Bengal in IMFL with two brands viz. Pincon XXX Rum and the Pincon No 1 Whisky, the company is now having 11 of its own IMFL brands in Rum, Whisky, Vodka, Jin and Brandy, new business verticalsin IMIL (Country Liquor) and edible oil in FMCG; with fast business foray to be a PAN India company, having geographical spread in West Bengal, Karnataka, Odisha, Jharkhand, Uttarakhand and North Eastern States.

As per the Business World Survey, the Pincon Edible Oil was judged as the Fourth Largest Consumer Pack for Edible Oil in Eastern India. Pincon Edible Oil is now a household name.  In 2010. Pincon XXX Matured Rum is the third largest selling Rum in the market as per the West Bengal Bonders and Manufacturers Association.

In 2013, turnover crossed Rs 300 crores and the company acquired sole distributorship in West Bengal of Fashion Vodka – a premier brand of Vodka.

In 2016, Pincon Spirit became  one of the fastest growing player in the medium liquor segment.

There has been acquisitions of three C.S liquor plants in Asansol, Dankuni and Barahanagar in West Bengal, with aggregate production capacity of 1.80 crore bottles per month and capacity utilisation being around 1.35 crore bottles per month.
